6.7 Building insulation and exterior wall decoration

6.7.1 construction of the internal and external thermal insulation system,should adopt the combustion of class A grade insulation material,should not be used in B2 grade insulation material, prohibited use of class B3 insulation materials.refractory limit base wall or roof panel set insulation system shall be in conformity with the relevant provisions of this specification.

6.7.2 when construction wall should adopt the internal thermal insulation system,the thermal insulation system shall comply with the following provisions.

     1.In crowded places,fire,oil,gas and other places with fire danger,evacuation staircase buildings in the aisle,refuge,refuge room,refuge floors and the other places or regions, the combustion performance of thermal insulation materials should bu used in A grade.

     2.In other places, should use low smoke, low toxicity and combustion performance of not less than B1 grade insulation material;

     3.Thermal insulation system should use incombustible material protection layer. The combustion performance of B1 class insulation material, the thickness of protection layer should not be less than 10mm.

6.7.3 exterior wall thermal insulation material and the compound insulation structure on both sides of the wall body cavity, fire resistance of the structure should be in conformity with the relevant provisions of this code; when the combustion performance of B1 class B2 insulation materials, insulation materials on both sides of the wall should be noncombustible material and thickness should not be less than 50mm.

6.7.4 Set the construction of personnel intensive place, the combustion performance of external wall thermal insulation material shall be the A level.
6.7.5 The exterior building insulation system which has no space with the primary wall and decorative layer,should meet the following requirements:
1.Residential building:
1)The height of building more than 100m, the combustion performance of insulation materials should be Class A;
2)The height of building more than 27m, but not more than 100m, the combustion performance of insulation materials should not be lower than the B1 level;
3)When the building height is not more than 27m, the combustion performance of insulation materials should not be less than the B2 level;
2.In addition to residential buildings and the buildings in crowded places , the other buildings:
1)The height of building more than 50m, the combustion performance of insulation materials should be Class A;
2)When the height of building more than 24m, but not more than 50m, the combustion performance of insulation materials should not be lower than the B1 level;
3)When the building height is not more than 24m, the combustion performance of insulation materials should not fall below the B2 level.
6.7.6 In addition to crowded places set up outside the building, the exterior building insulation system which has space with the primary wall and decorative layer,should meet the following requirements:
1 When the height of building more than 24m, the combustion performance of insulation materials should be Class A;
2 When the height of building no more than 24m, the combustion performance of insulation materials should be less than the B1 level.

6.7.7 Except as specified in 6.7.3 of the standard, when the building exterior insulation system use combustion performance B1, B2 level of insulation material according to the Section 6.7, should meet the following stipulation:
1 In addition to the public buildings which using a B1 and insulation materials and building height no more than 24m or the residential construction using the B1 level of insulation materials and building height of not more than 27m, the building's exterior doors, window’s fire integrity should be no less than 0.5 h;
2 On each layer of insulation system should set firebreak . Fire Barrier should be used for A-level performance-flammable materials, Fire Barrier height should not less than 300mm.
6.7.8 Building exterior insulation system should use non-combustible material to set surface protective layer, insulation materials should be fully wrapped by protective layer. Except the regulation of 6.7.3, when according to the provisions of Section 6.7 of this specification uses B1, B2 insulation material, the thickness of the protective layer of the first layer should be no less than 15mm, the other layers should be no less than 5mm.
6.7.9 The cavity between the exterior thermal insulation system and primary mall,decorative layer, should be plugged by FR material at each floor. 
6.7.10 Building roof insulation system, when the fire resistance limit of the roof is not  less than 1.00h, the combustion performance of insulating material shall not be less than  B2; when the fire resistance limit is lower than 1.00h ,it shall not be less than B1. B1,  B2 class insulation material of external thermal insulation system should use incombustible  material as a protective layer, the protective layer thickness should not be less than  10mm.
When the roof and exterior heat preservation system adopts B1, B2 class insulation  material, between the roof and the wall should be the width of not less than 500mm of non  combustible material set fire isolated belt separation.
6.7.11 Arranged around the switch socket electrical accessories such as part of the non  combustible insulation materials should be taken by fire and fire protection measures.
 6.7.12 The decorative layer of the exterior walls of the building by combustion properties  of A material, but the building height not more than 50m,it can use B1 materials.
